HAVE A DRINK WITH OUR LIFE MEMBERS
This Saturday evening (rain, hail or shine), our Life Members will be getting together at 6.30pm in the clubrooms. We will be combining this will a brief formal season opening. Come along and have a drink with our Life Members, and see the new season in. Everyone is most welcome.

NEW CLUB GROUNDSMAN
Last week we told you about a new Premier Coach. This week we are very pleased to say that we have a new groundsman to work alongside John Thompson. Tom O’Carroll comes to us after many years of tending the piches at Hagley Oval. It is great to have someone of Tom’s experience and skills on board – welcome Tom.
RESULTS FROM LAST WEEK
Overall it was a good week, with 5 of our 7 teams winning, including all three morning grade sides. Results were:
Premiers 213/6 (Will Young 69, Carl Huyser 44, George Worker 35) beat Marist-Harewood 84 (George Worker 3/12, Sam Noster 3/24) by 134 runs
2As 98/6 beat East Shirley 97 by four wickets
2Bs 117/4 beat Heathcote 116 by six wickets
3B Brawlers 117/2 beat Sydenham Goats 116/8 by eight wickets
3B Cannons 85/2 beat Marist-Harewood White 81 by eight wickets
3B Mariners 53 lost to Sydenham All Stars 64/8 by 11 runs
Presidents Foxes 121 lost to Sydenham Cardinals 136 by 15 runs

Saturday morning Junior Cricket starts at 9am on 19 October, and Friday night Junior Cricket at 6pm on 18 October.
So, it’s not too late to register, even if you missed our registration days! If you want to play, or you have friends who’d like to play, check out this page for how to register.

If you are a Senior Cricketer who does not play for a “closed team”, or in other words is registering as an individual, then please download a registration form from the Seniors page on our website. Thanks for getting your subs in early!
