Hello everyone

A winning Senior weekend
5 out of our 8 Senior Teams won on the weekend, and it would have been 6 if both the Brawlers and the Cannons could have won the local derby.
Micah Campbell’s 5th wicket, and a Premier win all sown up
The Premiers had a great innings and 45 run win over Marist-Harewood and the 2As also won comfortably against the same club. The 2Bs went down to Hornby, but the Presidents Foxes triumphed in a close contest over Merivale-Papanui. In the 3B Grade, the Cannons overcame the Brawlers, and the Mariners had a loss. The Dubai Diamond Traders had their first victory for the club.
Quality not quantity on the Honours Board
There were some important contributions on the weekend, notably Gareth Gibson’s and Hamish Kember’s batting and bowling for the Foxes and Guy Borren’s bowling to take the heart out of Marist-Harewood for the 2As.
The classical Gareth Gibson
However, a select group of only three made the Board this week. Micah Campbell took his first ever Premier grade bag of five wickets to spearhead the charge to victory. Adam Gillett’s 88 was at the heart of the 2A win. And Tom Sturman’s first innings 65 for the 2Bs was an omission from last week’s report. Well done lads.
Al Brown Top Ten
After the first morning grade round, there are 3 Premiers, one player from the 2As, two players from the 2Bs, three Presidents Foxes and one Brawler in the top ten of the Al Brown leaderboard. The Brawlers’ Landon Neal has his second week at the top, after another useful effort with the bat. Who are the other nine? – find out here
