Welcome to the New Year and I hope everyone has had an opportunity to get involved in a bit of cricket listening or viewing, and rearing to get back into it! You should have had enought time to knock in your new bat.

Junior Cricket

As a reminder here are the dates starting back as below and as per everyother year the Year 8’s will be of to high school and leave our club – so we wish them all the best. Peter Burke will have been looking at adjusting some teams and will have spoken to coaches etc.

Friday Night Cricket starts back on Friday the 12th of February

Saturday Morning Grade starts back on the 6th February

Senior Cricket

The premier men have been playing some great cricket and currently in 3rd place with final round of two matches this Saturday at home on Burnside #1. The are playing Sydenham and St. Albans so if they want to progress to the semi-finals its a must win. With 4 sides tied in third it might come down to run rate….Come down this Saturday or follow our facebook page for updates

As we come towards the business end of the season the positions in the competitions are as follows, well done to the DDT and Brawlers for leading the competition, and to the Presidents Foxes and 2a’s the coming runners up – keep up the great work!
