The first weeks cricket was cancelled and with the amount of rain we have had we are all relying on a dry day on Friday to help dry out the saturated grounds as well as a lot of work, planning and prayer from all of the ground staff across Christchurch to try make the grounds playable. Keep and eye out this week for last minute grounds changes and Facebook for cancellations.
- Premiers, 2a, 2b and President’s Foxes at home on Saturday

Matt is in his 2nd season of the Premier Squad and we also wanted to reward Matt for the time he puts into coaching junior’s. The club wishes Matt every success with his cricket and we thank the support of our sponsor’s to provide this.

Year 5 Trials will either be on Monday from 5.30pm, or on Thursday. This will be confirmed before the weekend.

Pics from the Past
While I was in at Cricket Express this week I spotted this photo on wall of the 2004/2005 Christchurch Red team, managed by Peter Burke, featuring Thomas Latham as vice captain as well as Nick Tinning and Gerard Pottinger who still play for the club in T20 format for the DDT, not sure who else in the side still plays.
