Burnside West Christchurch University Cricket provides playing, coaching, and administration opportunities for all ages and skill levels.

Junior Cricket
Burnside West Christchurch University Cricket provides opportunities for boys and girls of all ages. Whether they are picking up a bat for the first time or want to play in a representative competition we can cater for them.

Men’s Cricket
We have teams in the top CMCA competitive morning grades who play a mixture of Two Day, One Day and Twenty20 cricket, as well as social afternoon grades who play 40 over or Twenty20 cricket.

North West Women’s Cricket
North-West Women’s Cricket s a collaboration between Burnside West Christchurch University and Merivale Papanui Cricket Clubs, providing girls women’s cricket playing pathways for ages 10 and up.

University Cricket
Are you a university student studying in Christchurch, and looking for your cricket fix? Burnside Oval became the home of university cricketers in Canterbury when the West Christchurch University Club was part of another merger with the Burnside Cricket Club in 1972.

North West Youth Cricket
North West Youth Cricket Our club is a hub for developing players. We provide cricket pathways for High School age players through our North West Youth Cricket programme with playing and coaching opportunities for those in Years 9 to 13.

Social Cricket
If you just want to play cricket, but aren’t interested in participating at a competitive level, give social afternoon grade cricket a try. From 40-over matches, to short Twenty20 games, there is something for everyone.
