Duck Duck Six have found themselves in the top 4 after the Christmas break. One of the reasons for this is due to the brilliance of wicketkeeper batsman Todd Vermeir.
Todd has been the middle order anchor, consistently scoring runs and providing much needed stability in a social T20 team. Todd joined the team 3 years ago based on the fact he had played some cricket at school and he wanted to have another go.
His first season was a rather expensive one, being the most fined player for his inability to accept he had done anything wrong. This was counteracted by his run scoring ability, second only to the mercurial Michael Parish. His wicket keeping has also consistently set the standard for the fielding amongst the team.
Todd has landed himself a software engineering job in Melbourne and we at Duck Duck Six and BWUCCC wish him all the best. He is a top bloke and there will always be a place for him should he wish to return.
