Sunday’s Premier One Day Semi- Final win over East Christchurch Shirley was even more special for Matt Farrant who bought up his 200th appearance for BWCUCC.
The club has just has it’s Honours Board updated which will be special for players Matt Hay, Mitch Hay and Will O’Rourke who will see there names up under the “Canterbury” section for their representative honours.

Geoff Boorer from our grounds services supply partner Perennial, a sponsor, club member and former committee member contacted us about evaluating their demonstration Quickscore scoreboard as well as having it at the clubrooms so that is seen in action.
In their last year at intermediate school our Year 8 players finish their club cricket in December before they head off to their respective high schools, some of the players have been with the club for 7 years starting out at our KVS Friday Night junior cricket at Burnside Park until transitioning into Saturday morning cricket with Christchurch Junior Cricket Association.

Ben first came our club in 2018 as a referral from UC Sport where he was studying a sports coaching degree and we asked for some video feedback support. This has been in an entirely voluntary capacity.
BWCUCC would like to extend a warm welcome to Harsh Visavadiya, who has recently joined the club from Nelson.
This season we have two Year 4 teams playing in Saturday Morning CJCA competitions and this the first time that they will be representing the club against other clubs and teams and will be wearing white pants or shorts, team shirt and their first playing cap.
This season the club will be entering a team in the CJCA Year 7 premier grade competition which plays on a Saturday afternoon starting at 12.30pm. This cricket is 9 a-side and the club will be selecting a team for this. There will also be 2 Morning Year 7 Teams.
