Round 1 of the season against St Albans was Thomas Zohrab’s 25th 2-Day game for BWCUCC.

Blazers have been introduced to reward and recognise game milestones for the premier side, with 50 games or 25 2-Day fixtures earning you a blazer and every 50 game after that being embroidered below the crest.

Thomas joined the club from Nelson College when he moved south to study law at UC. ‘TZ’ started his BWC career with a bang scoring 98 on debut at Burwood Park and has brought an amazing work ethic and energy to the side since. ‘TZ’ played a major part in the clubs 2-Day drought breaking title win last year and was man of the match in the 2021/22 One Day final where he scored 48* and took 4/24 dominating the match. Thomas has been a great example to students who come and go throughout the season, when he is in Christchurch he is 100% committed to the team and giving all his energy to making himself, the team and his teammates better players.
