Important Information Relating to PlayHQ – Read First!
The club has made some important changes to registrations process behind the scenes to please read these points prior to registering:

- ANZ Have once again open their cricket grant process of up to $80.00 for some our younger players – Please apply for the grant FIRST then you will get a voucher you can use during the PlayHQ registration Process: https://www.anzcricketworld.co.nz/grants
- PlayHQ registration is pre-pay only – if you would prefer an instalment plan or wish to discuss our hardship scholarships please contact Scott Inglis our treasurer by email treasurer@burnsidecricket.org.nz or speak to Shane Young the Junior convenor – you will be provided a voucher to register
- If you are in a senior closed social or T20 team speak to your captain as they will have a voucher for you.
Junior Boy’s & Girls Registration – NOW OPEN!
All returning and new Junior Members are invited to register for the 2023/24 season. Use the BWCUCC link for Junior boys up to School Year 8. Junior girls members please use the North West Women’s Cricket (NWWC) Junior Registration link.

Men’s Senior Registration 2023/24 is Now Open
All returning and new Senior Members are invited to register online using PlayHQ, using the link below. All players should register individually this season – no matter what team you intend to play for. The registration process will guide you through the steps of selecting the appropriate registration fee.
For morning and afternoon “open” grades (that is, teams with open merit-based selection between grades – inluding Premiership, Championship, Division 2, and Division 4 grade), register at the following link:
BWCUCC Men’s Open Grade PlayHQ Registration 2023/24
For afternoon and social “closed” grades (that is, teams that operate as closed teams – including Division 6 Broncos, Masters Foxes, Masters Robbie’s, T20 Bushwhackers, T20 Duck Duck Six, and T20 Sticky Wickets), you need to register at the team links below. Closed teams pay a team sub, rather than individual fees, so it is important that you contact your team captain for a voucher code to apply at the payment step to nullify the individual player fee.

Special notes for Men’s Senior Registration
Please note for NEW Senior members – if you are new to the club, we encourage you to get in touch with our club captain Will O’Brien prior to registering to ensure we can place you in a suitable team or level in the club.
PlayHQ is PRE-PAY only this year, meaning that payment is required in order to process your registration. If you require financial assistance (for example a payment plan), please contact Scott Inglis at treasurer@burnsidecricket.org.nz.
Players under the age of 21 on the 1st of October qualify for a reduced registration fee, this is automatically calculated when you register based on the DOB information you provide.
Students also qualify for a reduced registration fee, to request a discount voucher for this purpose, contact Will O’Brien, or email the club secretary at cricket@burnsidecricket.org.nz along with a photo of your student ID card.

All returning and new Senior Women’s club Members are invited to register with NWWC at the link below, or at an In -erson Registration Day.

In Person Registration Days
We will host face-to-face registration days, upstairs at the Burnside Cricket Pavilion, at 340 Avonhead Road, Burnside – every Saturday in September from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon. All returning and new members (junior, senior) are welcome to attend to find out more about cricket

School Visits – Cricket Awareness Programme
Our coaching team will be conducting a number of school visits and cricket awareness campaigns in September, drumming up interest for playing cricket this Summer. Keep an eye-out for a flyer in your child’s school bag!
