The 2024 Senior prizegiving was hosted at the clubrooms on the 12th of April 2024 and was attended by 70 plus members. Gareth Gibson did a magnificent job once again as the master of ceremonies and supper was catered by the spitroast company.
The event followed a similar theme to other years, supper was served first followed by team awards then an interval and the club awards were presented. . Dave Robertson added a new format with a section called “Crash on the Couch” where he interviewed Chris Kennedy and then Carl Huyser. There will be a full list of winners at the bottom of the page. The club awards followed next and we welcomed Dave Hooper who was the very first treasurer of the amalgamated committee in 1972, and Dave also created the DJ Hooper Runs Trophy which he presented to this seasons winner Scott Janett. There is a video of this presentation below.
Some of the key club awards were Al Brown MVP presented to Matt Hay, Robertson Cup presented to Ben McGarvey, the WS MacGibbon Trophy to best all round club member was shared with James Guild-Inder and David Zohrab.
