The 2025 Junior Cricket registrations are due to open shortly and the club is calling for nominations for any players who wish to be considered for the Year 7 Premier or Year 8 Premier sides. Both these sides will be playing afternoon cricket.

At Year 7 and 8 there are two times of play. (All use the leather hardball)

• Morning Grade –  Games are played on Saturday mornings start at 9 am -12 ;30pm approx with games of 20/20 format then changing to 30 over games after Christmas.
• Afternoon Premier Grade –  Games are played on Saturday afternoons beginning at 12:30 – 4:30pm Games format is 30 overs each.

We’re running indoor pre-season sessions for all Year 6, 7 and 8 players keen to play cricket with Burnside West this coming season.

The sessions will focus on the basics – batting, bowling and fielding, and are a great way to blow off the winter cobwebs, get some early touches in, and reconnect with teammates (or meet new ones). These training sessions will help us get a sense of numbers and where players are at.

Indoor Sessions held at Action Indoor Sports, 81 Buchanans Road, Hornby on Court 3. (if you have CJCA pre-season time clash please attend CJCA).
