Matt Hay 200th Appearance

The clubrooms were crowded last Saturday to celebrate a big milestone with Matt Hay reaching 200 appearances for the clubs Premier side, only the 6th player in the history of the club to do so.

Starting with our Friday Night Cricket program Matt went on to play Saturday CJCA junior cricket for the club then represented Christchurch Boys’ High School coming back the club in 2016 to make his senior debut.

Matt has won seven titles for the club, six of them as skipper – the most successful captain in the club’s history.

The formalities were overseen by Carl Huyser with Callum Hill and brother Mitch Hay attending to present the blazer in front of the members.
