The club is incredibly grateful to Dulux for their community donation of all the materials for our deck project which has enabled the club up re-stain the deck and re-paint the handrail.

We applied for the community donation online and were notified it was successful. The products were able to be collected locally from the Dulux Roydvale Trade Centre. Not only was the Dulux paint, Cabot’s Deck Stain and Deck Clean provided but they also supplied the brushes, pads and applicators.

The 2025 Working Bee saw the beginning of the preparation and then Luke Pynenburg and Peter Hay took over the project to see the job completed. There was quite a bit of additional preparation needed for the handrails and Luke spent a couple of sunny afternoon listening to radio getting it done.

Work was completed in the first weeks of the season and has made a massive difference.
