The BWCUCC Premier Squad assembled for the first time a couple of weeks ago, ironically in the coldest week of the year to start their preparation for the 2026/27 season.
Having booked indoor training sessions which will be split between Sydenham & Hagley’s indoor facility before moving outside in late September (subject to weather and groundman’s approvals).
Trainings are as follows at Sir Richard Hadlee Centre
- 9am – 10:30am Saturday 29th August
- 9am – 10:30am Saturday 5th September
- 9am – 10:30am Saturday 12th September
The squad will be heading to Blenheim for the third addition of the ‘MUD Cup’ in late September. This is a pre-season T20 competition hosted by Marlborough Cricket. BWC will be looking to defend their title after beating the hosts in the final last year.
