The Christchurch Metro Cricket Association has confirmed their season calendar for the 2018/19 season, and all the important dates are locked in. The key season events are as follows:

| 20 October 2018 | Labour Saturday-cricket for all Adult and Youth grades |
| 22 October 2018 | No cricket other than Division 1 Men |
| 12 November 2018 | Twilight cricket starts |
| 13 November 2018 | Craig McMillan Series starts |
| 17 November 2018 (Show Weekend) |
Saturday cricket ON for all Adult Grades. Youth 1st XI, 2nd, Year 9a grades only to play. |
| 24 November 2018 | Kirsty Bond Series starts |
| 1 December 2018 | Youth cricket finishes for 1st XI Grades, 2nd Grade and Open T20 |
| 8 December 2018 | Youth cricket finishes for Year 9 and Year 10 Grades |
| 9 December 2018 | Semi-finals of One-day competitions-Morning Grades |
| 15 December 2018 | Last playing day before Christmas |
| 16 December 2018 | FINALS DAY-One-day competitions (Reserve day 6 Jan 2019) |
| 12 January 2019 | Restart of Metro Adult cricket |
| 19 January 2019 | Premier Women’s T20 starts |
| 26 January 2019 | Kirsty Bond Series, Social 8 T20 and Div 1 Women to start |
| 26 January 2019 | Youth 1st XI Grades to start |
| 2 February 2019 | All other Youth grades to re-start for 2019 |
| 6 February 2019 | Finals Day – Twenty20 Series |
| 16-17 February 2019 | Double-header for Morning Adult Grades |
| 30 March 2019 | Last playing day of season for all Adult and Youth cricket. Women’s and Afternoon Men’s Grades finals day. |
