The club was buzzing this week with the news that Mitch Hay got the call up to play in the 2nd test against the West Indies at the Basin Reserve. Peter and Raelyn Hay travelled up to Wellington and were caught on camera when Mitch brought up his 50 on debut.

With Tom Latham, Blackcaps test captain and Will O’Rourke the club celebrated the milestone of having three current players in test cricket PR-The-Pride-of-Burnside-Roars_-BWCUCC-Celebrates-Historic-Test-Trio

Peter Hay also managed to feature on the radio commentary on Sports Nation and managed to slip in a few key references for the club as well.

The 25 Year old wicket keeper batter has always been available to help around the club where possible and everyone is so proud.
