The winter is providing some excellent opportunities for our representative masters players who are involved in several representative tours. Chris Kennedy who has just returned from an NZ over 65s tri-series in Australia, Matthew Everest who is set to travel to the UK with NZ over 50s and Steven Hobson who is in the NZ over 40s side that will be travelling to Guyana for the 16 team over 40s world cup.
Chris Kennedy was part of the over 65s team (pictured above) that travelled to the Sunshine Coast in June to take part in tri-series. Chris top scored for NZ with 34 vs Australia on the first day though the result went to Aussie. Unfortunately for the tournaments last two days were abandoned due to rain. You can check out the scores here
Chris has a simple message for players – keep involved in the game as these touring opportunities are increasing in the future and it is a great experience.

Matthew Everest has been selected in the NZ Over 50s side to travel to the UK in July and August on an extensive tour with an over 50s World Cup on the horizon in 2027 to be hosted in India.

Steven Hobson has been selected in the NZ Masters over 40s World Cup side that is to be hosted in Guyana in from 17 October to 1st November with matches in Georgetown, Berbice and Essequibo.
