Venue for hire
Secluded away in the trees in a private corner of Burnside Oval, and with a panoramic view of the cricket fields from its balcony, our pavilion is the ideal and relaxing venue for your next event.
The Burnside Cricket pavilion is available for hire with availability year round. We accept bookings for both corporate and private events (but generally have more availability during the winter off-season).

About our Facilities:
The pavilion can accommodate 60-70 seated guests at tables, up to a maximum of 100 guests in a more informal ‘bar’ event seating. Our venue is licensed (special licenses will be arranged for your evening events). The pavilion has a dance floor, a basic kitchen and toilet facilities, as well as an expansive deck area with upstairs views over Burnside Oval.
For corporate meetings and training events, we offer AV facilities, access to a projector & screen, or flat screen TV. Internet access is available for all events.
A modest kitchen is available for your use, with tea & coffee facilities, an oven, fridge, and basic kitchen supplies. We also have a selection of plates, glassware, and crockery available for your use, or you can arrange your own.
There is space for dozens of cars in the well lit car park right next to the building.
Venue Hire Costs:
Licensed venue hire pricing starts from:
- $750 inc GST (for smaller events, less than 60 people)
- $900 inc GST (for larger events, including 21sts)
For larger events and 21sts, more staff are required, therefore our venue hire cost increases. A discount is available for club members. Contact us to find out more.
Unlicensed or Corporate Day-hire events:
- $300 inc GST
Our (sports-club) bar provides a range of beverages (bottled beer, wine, RTDs, non-alcoholic beverages). Due to the nature of our liquor license, we do not allow BYO events.
