On Saturday 10/2/2024 Tinus was presented his 100 game blazer (it was a little late due his daughter Lexie being born, and that our blazer tradition had only just started, in fact Tinus has played 130 Premier matches for the club). Who better to present the blazer but big brother and Premier Men’s Coach Carl Huyser.

Tinus is a hard hitting batter who does enjoys sending the ball to all parts of the ground as well as being a fierce competitor. He played a big roll in the drought breaking one day title win making 62 in the 2017/18 final, and his massive 222 off 87 in the Championship grade final was not long after he joined the club from CBHS.

Tinus contribution is not limited to on the field, he has helped with numerus jobs around the club including the plumbing for our yet to be dedicated Jerrys water fountain and completing the 55km ‘run for Evan’ just before the start of the 2023/24 season. You won’t find Tinus lying down, as both he and Nicole have a busy family life with Riley and Lexie.
